6 restaurantes españoles se posicionan en la lista europea
El restaurante Elkano, de Getaria, encabeza la lista de restaurantes europeos de Tradición y Producto de la Opinionated About Dining 2018 (OAD). Una lista que este año acoge una gran presencia de nombres españoles que son, además, los que copan los primeros puestos de la clasificación.
Elkano, un local familiar con Aitor Arregi al mando de la cocina, es aclamado por su rodaballo cuidadosamente seleccionado y braseado en las parrillas exteriores del restaurante. Un plato de pescado que es habitual en muchos restaurantes vascos pero que, según los críticos de la OAD, en la versión de Elkano es el mejor del mundo.
Otro restaurante del País Vasco, Ibai, ocupa el segundo puesto de la lista. Este pequeño restaurante está ubicado en la bodega de un modesto bar de pintxos y tiene sólo un puñado de mesas. Y el tridente ganador de la lista Tradición y Producto lo completa otro restaurante español, en este caso gallego, D’Berto. Dirigido por Berto Domínguez García y su hermana Marisol este restaurante destaca por sus mariscos y crustáceos de gran tamaño.
Asimismo, El Faralló en Dénia, Kaia Kaipe en Getaria o la reconocida marisquería Los Marinos José, ubicada en Fuengirola (Málaga) encabezan el top ten de la lista.
